Jeffrey Hua advises clients on a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, corporate governance, and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining Murtaugh, Jeff was a corporate attorney at an Am Law-ranked firm where he advised privately-held companies, ranging from start-ups to mature enterprises, on a broad array of transactions throughout their respective life cycles, from financings to strategic transactions and exits, and also counseled publicly-traded corporations on SEC reporting and compliance, as well as private equity firms and their portfolio companies on financial acquisitions. His experience spans across a variety of industries, including energy, technology, healthcare, consumer products, services, manufacturing, media, and aerospace.
Jeff earned his law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles (J.D., 2014), where he achieved an honors distinction in the corporate law concentration and served as senior technical editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International & Comparative Law Review. He was also on the Dean’s Honor List and a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society.
Jeff received his undergraduate degrees in business administration (finance concentration) and political science from the University of California, Riverside (B.S. & B.A., 2011), where he was on the Dean’s List and Chancellor’s List.
